Shipping Policy

🗓️ What Counts as a Working Day?

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays. Orders placed after 12PM, Friday, over the weekend, or on holidays will be processed on the next working day.

⚙️ What Does Processing Mean?

Processing includes collecting the bales and preparing them to be shipped by our couriers, typically DHL, but could also be FedEx, this should be attached to the email thats confirms you have placed an order with us.

🔎 Tracking & Dispatch

Tracking info is auto-sent when we print your label, not when it’s collected. Scans may not show instantly. Once the courier collects and scans your parcel, tracking will update normally.

📦 Delivery Delays & Courier Errors

Once your parcel leaves our warehouse, it’s in the hands of the courier (usually DHL, but could be FedEx). If there’s a delay, reroute, or your parcel goes missing, you must raise a case with DHL/FedEx first using your tracking number. Once they provide a case ID, we can help escalate it on our end. We can’t open claims for you or chase parcels without a reference.

You’re also in control post-dispatch, you can leave delivery instructions like “leave with neighbour” or “safe place” directly through DHL or FedEx’s tracking portal.

🌍 International Orders

We ship worldwide via FedEx. Britwear Baling is not responsible for customs delays, import VAT, or duties. Please check your local import rules before ordering.

In our endeavour to keep prices at Britwear Bales as low as practicable, we uphold a policy of full transparency on all shipping costs. Consequently, we would like to highlight that selecting collection from our East London depot remains the most cost-effective option for receiving your order.
